BRITANNIC 100  Commemorating the Centenary of the Sinking of HMHS Britannic November 2016 marks the centenary of the sinking of His Majesty’s Hospital Ship Britannic – the biggest single ship sunk in World War One. The British Titanic Society has been contacted by the Titanic International Society proposing an emergency joint venture to protect an iconic part of New York’s Titanic heritage.
